On August 26th and September 16th, Guizhou Tianzhu Tuya Team and Guizhou Xixiu Sour Soup Team will face these two Sichuan teams.

The players included company employees, designers, chefs, film projectors, construction workers, doctors, and others from all walks of life, with a wide age range, but they were all passionate about football.

Football is the spiritual totem of several generations of Kaijiang people. In 2015, several Kaijiang people who work in Chengdu and love football formed the Chengdu Kaijiang Football Team. Eight years later, this team developed to over 360 Kaijiang players.

At first, we formed a team and only wanted to facilitate a few Kaijiang brothers who worked in Chengdu to gather and play football together. Unexpectedly, there were too many fellow villagers who loved playing football, one by one, and the team continued to expand. According to Zhang Tianrui, one of the team's founders, in 2020, the team had already surpassed 100 people and needed more intensive matches. Therefore, the team began organizing internal leagues in the first and second half of the year.

In 2021, the team also crowdfunded and opened a hot pot restaurant. This is also the first hotpot restaurant in Chengdu to open through crowdfunding, with grassroots football as the theme and local place names as the name.

In Zhang Tianrui's view, being invited to participate in the Village Super League, in addition to achieving certain results in recent years' matches, is more about the team's adherence to the concept and high compatibility with the spirit of the Village Super League.
